Cicada watch: 5/25
Okay, still no cicadas that I have seen or heard. And I'd prefer it that way.
Of course, once they do arrive, I could always pass the time indoors by cooking up some Soft-shelled Cicadas, el Chirper Tacos, or Cicada Rhubarb Pie. No? Then perhaps a a starter of Cicada Cheese Wontons, bit of Cicada Portabello Quiche, Cicada Sauerbraten with Spatzle (mmm, I love spatzle!), Curried Cicadas and Chickpeas finished with German Chocolate Cicada Cake and then a snack later of Cicada Granola Chews!
It's just too much, people! I don't care if they are related to lobsters and crawdads! They're still gross!
